World Junior no.1 Lakshya Sen wins Bulgaria Open

16 year old Lakshya Sen won the Bulgaria Open International Series event today, his second senior international title. He beat the 29 year old second seeded Zvonimir Durkinjak of Croatia 18-21 21-12 21-17 in the finals. He had earlier defeated top seed Sam Parsons of England in the first round. OGQ has been supporting Lakshya since he was 10 years old.

OGQ funded Lakshya's entire trip to the Bulgaria Open and a 10 day training camp in France under Danish legend Peter Gade Christensen. We also sent OGQ personal trainer Mobya Duyu with him for this trip. Lakshya hails from Almora district in Uttarakhand and trains at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy in Bangalore. He is the current World Junior no.1 and his entire training is personally looked after by badminton legend and co-founder of OGQ Prakash Padukone.

We are proud to support Lakshya Sen.
