Kynan Chenai

DOB – 29th January 1991

Event – Trap Shooting

Kynan took up the sport of shotgun Trap shooting in 2003. It was around this time that Hyderabad hosted the “32nd National Games” and an international class trap shooting range was built for the games. This became accessible to aspiring shooters from Hyderabad. Kynan started training initially with his father and later with other professional shooters like Mansher Singh the 4 time olympian. He earned the Olympic quota for India at the 2016 Asian Olympic Qualifier event in New Delhi in 2016. He will be competing in his maiden Olympics at Rio 2016 in Trap.

He is one of the most promising shotgun shooters in India at present and OGQ is proud to support Kynan in his quest to win an Olympic medal for India.
