Annu Rani

Event – Javelin Throw

Annu Rani is the upcoming star in Indian athletics. She broke the national record twice in 2014. Once at the Commonwealth Games trials where she threw 58.83 m and at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, Annu broke her own national record to throw 59.53 m. She thus clinched a historic bronze medal for India.

Annu who belongs to Uttar Pradesh, trains under former Commonwealth Games bronze medalist Kashinath Naik. She has improved leaps and bounds over the last 1 and a half year and is showing tremendous potential to be the best in the world.

OGQ has tremendous belief in the potential of Annu and we are supporting her with an eye on the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
